Our 13.5kg and 17.5kg washers give you larger options for bulky household laundry. A doona’s filling and thickness matter as well as its bed size, so check the care label and choose a drum with enough space for the item to move freely.
Don’t force a bulky doona into a smaller washer or tightly pack several items together. If your bedding needs dry cleaning or cannot be machine washed, follow its care instructions. We provide self-service washers and dryers only.

Prices shown are cash/coin prices in Australian dollars. A 7.5kg washer is also available for $6 per wash for smaller loads. Drying is charged by time, so the total depends on your load and the settings suitable for its fabric. See all machines and payment options.
Plan a wash that suits the care label.
Check before you bring it. Read the washing and drying symbols, check the filling type and look for damaged seams. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for detergent, temperature and drying.
Leave room in the drum. Load suitable bedding loosely and avoid overfilling. Bring your own detergent, or use our powder dispenser for two $1 coins. Follow the machine and detergent instructions.
Allow time to finish drying. Only tumble dry when the care label permits it. Check your bedding as it dries; thick or filled items may need more time. Make sure it is fully dry before putting it back on the bed or into storage.
Start by 9pm. We’re open 7am–10pm daily, including public holidays. Allow time to wash, dry and collect your bedding before closing.

Will a king-size doona fit?
There is no one-size answer: filling, thickness and the care label all matter. Choose a machine with room for the doona to move freely. Do not assume every king-size doona will fit the 17.5kg washer.
How much does a doona wash and dry cost?
The 13.5kg washer is $8 per wash and the 17.5kg washer is $12 per wash at cash/coin prices. Add dryer time separately: $1 per 6 minutes in a 14kg dryer or $1 per 4 minutes in a 20kg dryer. The drying total varies with your bedding.
Can I leave my doona for someone to wash?
Our laundrette is self-service only. You operate the machines and collect your own bedding; there is no wash, dry and fold or drop-off service.
Can I wash pet bedding here?

Our laundrette is at Eastwood Plaza, 7/102 Canterbury Road, Kilsyth South VIC 3137. If you’re looking for a self-service laundromat near Bayswater North or Croydon South, check the route to our Kilsyth South shop before setting out. Parking is directly out front, so you can bring your basket or bulky bedding straight in.
We’re open 7am–10pm every day, including public holidays. Start your last wash by 9pm and allow time to dry and collect your load before closing. No booking is needed; choose an available machine when you arrive.
